Kristina grew up in the Santa Ynez Valley attending The Los Olives Dance Gallery where she practiced ballet, tap, jazz, and hip hop for many years. When she was leaving high school, she was diagnosed with a painful hip condition. She began to take mat Pilates to help ease the symptoms, a practice that she continues to this day. In 2012, Kristina earned her degree in human osteology from San Francisco State University, specializing in the human skeletal system. In 2015, she completed her masters in business administration and felt that she was one step closer to her dream of owning her own business. In January of 2018, Kristina attended a reformer Pilates class taught by Kaycie at a studio in Santa Barbara on a trial membership. She instantly fell in love with the practice, attending 4 to 5 classes per week. While mat pilates kept her from being in pain while exercising, reformer pilates had rehabilitated her hip within a single month. It was this amazing transformation that led to her desire to become an instructor and incorporate her dance background into her practice.
Kaycie started as a personal trainer in 2010 in Santa Barbara, California. After studying Kinesiology she became a certified personal trainer and moved to Los Angeles to further her knowledge. She has worked as a personal trainer, certified Pilates instructor, and has managed multiple styles of gyms ranging from kickboxing, rehabilitation gyms, and Pilates studios. With multiple fitness certificates she found her love was Reformer Pilates! As a Personal Trainer and a Pilates instructor, she likes to incorporate her personal training background into her classes to create more innovative ways of working out. She found Pilates was the perfect combination of low impact rehabilitation, with options to make it a high intensity workout. In 2017, Kaycie expanded her fitness knowledge even further by earning a Bounce certification from Booty Barre Bounce, allowing her to incorporate a higher intensity cardio burn into her practice and bringing Bounce Fitness to the Santa Ynez Valley
